Miksmik Auth

What this is

Miksmik Auth is the sign-in service for Miksmik games and applications. It creates your Miksmik account, signs you in, and issues the sign-in tokens that those applications check — nothing else.

The Miksmik account

One Miksmik account signs you in to all of our games and applications. It holds your progress and your settings, so you can stop on one device and carry on from another, and it is what lets us tell your account apart from everyone else's.

You can create the account with an email address and a password, or sign in with your Google account. Both lead to the same account: if the email address is the same and Google has confirmed it, we join them together instead of making a second account for you.

Signing in with Google

When you choose Sign in with Google, your browser goes to Google, you pick your account there, and Google returns two things to us: confirmation that the sign-in succeeded, and your email address. That is everything we ask for.

We use the email address to recognise your account when you come back, to join it with an account you may already have under the same address, and to show you which account you are signed in as. We never see your Google password, because you type it on Google's own pages and not on ours.

We request no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google service, we keep no Google tokens after the sign-in is finished, and we never use your data for advertising. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Removing your data

You can disconnect Miksmik from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete the Miksmik account itself together with everything stored in it, write to [email protected].
